System Administator - Level 2

*Job description* We are a fast-growing Westchester county-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) is looking for an experienced and security-minded Sr. System Administrator who wants to expand their career with a growing MSP. *Responsibilities* * Work on assigned projects such as cloud migration, server migration, and Office365 setups. * Be the main point of escalation * Monitor customer systems via RMM tools and proactively fix issues * Assist with developing technical documentation and procedures * Maintain tasks, projects and activities in the relevant IT System of Record * Resolve assigned proactive and maintenance tasks. Document maintenance of all computer systems and network infrastructure * Configure and support firewalls, VPNs and routers *Requirements* * Proven work experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role for a minimum of three years * Extensive experience with administration of Windows AD/DNS/DHCP/GPOs * Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V configuration and support * Experience in supporting remote computers/servers/users * Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs * Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions * Excellent problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills * Customer-oriented attitude * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Within driving distance to White Plains, NY *Preferred Proficiencies* * Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (TS/VDI) * Datto Backup and Replication * PowerShell scripting * Start to finish Firewall/Router configuration and implementation * Microsoft Intune device management * Past help-desk system experience * Microsoft Server and Cloud Certifications Job Type: Full-time *Prior MSP working experience is a plus* Pay: Depends on experience level Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Experience: * Desktop support: 3 years (Required) * Office 365: 3 years (Required) * Working for an MSP: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Torrington, CT 06790 (Required) Work Location: In person
