CREOLA is a new Aurora St Steakhouse that embraces a Southern flair, blending fine dining, handcrafted cocktails, innovative cuisine, impeccable style. and first-class service. Serving USDA prime steaks, directly sourced seafood, creative sides, and house made desserts. CREOLA will deliver a gritty yet glamorous ambiance, while filling the space with blues and jazz hits. Our mission is to craft elevated dining experiences with unabashed fun!
We are currently seeking FOH employees that are enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with upscale experience. A welcoming, customer first attitude is a must. Our ideal candidates possess a solid work ethic, the ability to thrive in a team orientated environment, and passion for excellent service.
We are seeking candidates who can commit to 3-5 days a week, open availability preferred but not required. Anywhere from 20-35 hours a week depending on number of days you prefer to work, students welcomed to apply. Part time and Full time accepted.
SERVER
Minimum 1 year of experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant
Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems (POS)
Willing to take on challenges with a supportive team
Ability to take constructive criticism and has the motivation to improve
Ability to work under pressure in a calm manner with a sense of urgency
Communicative and have service knowledge
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
BUSSER/RUNNER
Create a relaxed destination – Greet all guests with a friendly smile, demonstrating genuine hospitality and work as a team player!
Set the course – Deliver exceptional services by assisting servers with food delivery to guests
Build the perfect oasis – Practice table maintenance, clearing and setting tables according to CREOLA standards
Support your crew – Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all team members and guests
To be an agent of hospitality and seek every opportunity to help guests have a positive experience.
HOST/HOSTESS
Smile, make eye contact, have good posture, and have a welcoming presence at the door.
Collect, organize, update and manage menus.
Stock host stands with appropriate supplies.
Utilize reservation systems and other tools to maximize the restaurant's seating and serving guests.
Greet and thank each guest entering or leaving the restaurant.
Seat guests at a suitable table or in waiting areas and remove extra place settings.
Manage the wait list and proactively communicate accurate seating times.
Provide guests with menus and inform guests of specialties and features.
Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
