We provide affordable technology and internet access to individuals and families across the country, helping bridge the digital divide and empower communities.About The RoleThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for various warehouse activities including receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will organize and maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. Keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed. A successful Warehouse Associate is hard-working, organized and detail-oriented. You should be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.ResponsibilitiesMaintain supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance standards are metOrganize, sort, and clean warehouse space and inventorySafely move inventory using pallet jacks, forklifts, or pallet stackers (with training)Receive, store, move, and pack outgoing inventory accurately and efficientlyRecord and track incoming equipment and maintain accurate data sanitization records for business clientsAccurately conduct quarterly inventory counts and provide reliable reportingSort donations by category and provide accurate counts of items being processedDisassemble computers, stack equipment on pallets, and secure with wrapping as neededMove gaylords/pallets throughout the building in a safe mannerEnsure items are properly labeled in accordance with Company, NAID, and R2 standardsMeet established KPI goals while maintaining quality and productivity standardsKeep workspace clean, safe, and organized at all timesPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsDesired Skills/Qualifications1+ years of warehouse or material handling experienceStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize tasks, estimate time, and consistently meet deadlinesForklift experience preferredAttention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiencyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environmentWhat We ValueGenuine interest in people, technology, and digital equityCompassionate, curious, and community-mindedGraceful under pressure and adaptable in dynamic situationsCollaborative teammate who brings energy and empathy to every interactionSelf-motivated and solutions-oriented thinkerPrevious networking and/or installation experience highly desirablePhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and move between workstations for extended periodsFrequently lift or move items up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift or move items up to 50 poundsRegular bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching during warehouse activitiesExtended periods of walking, standing, loading, and organizing inventory throughout the workdayManual dexterity to handle tools, small parts, and computer equipmentFrequent use of computers, scanners, and other warehouse/office equipmentAbility to work in various indoor environments, including non–temperature-controlled areasVisual acuity to read labels, track inventory, and perform detailed tasks accuratelyCommitment to following physical safety protocols and proper lifting techniquesWe are a growing non-profit and expect this position to drive continued growth.
