DescriptionJob Title:Prep CookDepartment:International Food Court ComplexReports To:IFC ManagerStatus: SeasonalAge:16 years or olderSUMMARYThe primary purpose of the Prep Cook is to prepare our great menu items quickly and accurately while maintaining food safety standards and regulations. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the IFC Manager.Park's operational summer hours are typically Sunday through Tuesday 12pm to 8pm and Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 9pm. During the parks season, evening and weekend hours are required.RESPONSIBILITIESStock food and supplies and communicate the need for additional supplies and assistance when neededPrepare and plate orders correctly to the customers specifications in a timely mannerMaintain equipment and immediately report any problems with equipmentClean food prep area throughout and at the end of shift to maintain food safety standardsKEY COMPETENCIESCandidate should possess strong communication skills, high degree of integrity, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to solve problemsCandidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with guests, provide a high level of guest service, and be an effective member of a teamExcellent organization skills with attention to detail and accuracyStrong customer service skills, both internal and externalMaintain a positive attitudeExceptional communication skills while relating to people in a friendly, professional mannerSelf-motivated; acts without needing directionsPerform cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean, safe work environment
