Senior Product Engineer

About the CompanyWe’re working with a Series A startup focused on building agentic workflows for institutional finance. The business has already signed on with some of the biggest names in global finance – Goldman, UBS, Metlife, KKR, and Apollo, and other blue chip financial institutions.Investment bankers and entry level finance positions in general work some of the longest hours of anyone in the world, much of that work being low-skill, manual work. The idea here is not to build agents to replace these workers, but to 5x the productivity of these teams and give them their time back.About the roleThis role is at the intersection of Software and Forward Deployed Engineering. The founders are looking for someone with full-stack technical chops but also the soft skills to embed with clients and work out their biggest pain points. You will be building AI agents to automate the low hanging fruit in investment banking, private credit, private debt, etc.This Product Engineer will pair up with an Outcome Engineer, similar to a Customer Success Engineer, and will map out financial workflows alongside the analysts and associates that they serve. The work will feel "Forward Deployed" in the sense that this engineer will embed themselves inside teams of financial operators to work out their biggest bottlenecks.
