Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, and established in 1986, we serve clients nationwide through 11 U.S. offices.Role: DevSecOps EngineerLocation: Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NHDuration: Full-TImeJob Description:The flavor of DevOps for this one is going to be someone with a data protection / data security background and mindset.Making sure the right people have the right access AKA the wrong people don't have the wrong accessThis DevOps Team runs platforms for the monitoring team that sends alerts (the DevOps team is not doing the monitoring themselves, but providing the tools / technologies that the monitoring team will rely on for updates / alerts).Right now:Currently have both in-house deploying on databases.jSonarGuardiumObjective:The goal is to narrow down and choose between jSonar + Guardium and then replace the other with OTel (OpenTelemetry)What we need:AWS and Cloud Deployment Tools (such as Terraform)DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitHubSQL for QueryingShell scripting, PythonjSonar and/or Guardium is a MUSTThe Expertise You HaveBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.Experience in talking to Product teams, collect business requirements and convert into system requirements.Experience in Design and build the product or any in house solution from the ground up.Technical skills (e.g., SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python)Demonstrated ability in a cloud DevOps role, cloud architecture and solutions are required.CI/CD pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins Core as well as scripting knowledge (python, Shell) is required.Experience in working with cloud computing technologies (MS Azure / AWS) is requiredExperience in Cybersecurity Database activity Logging & MonitoringExperience with AWS CloudWatchNice to have experience with Guardium, jSonar and Splunk.Experience of working with global teams, across different time zones.AWS or Azure Certified preferredExperience in working with Agile Scrum methodologyThe Skills You BringStrong knowledge of supporting operating systems (Linux and Windows) from Engineering standpointStrong knowledge of cloud/on prem/hybrid application deployment modelsExperience with ITIL or another IT service management frameworkExcellent system analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience Troubleshooting Difficult Technical ProblemsStrong knowledge in engineering the phased/layered Test approachesExperience in working with financial services industriesThe Value You DeliverYou will deliver engineering solutions and capabilities that deepen our ability to monitor database activity to support our Cybersecurity initiatives of building in house solutions.You will be responsible for providing ongoing production support including incident, change and release management activities.You will be required to participate in our global on-call rotation to ensure platform availability and stabilityYou will be responsible for technology lifecycle management activitiesYou will use well established enterprise standards, processes and procedures to ensure engineering activities are delivered in a timely fashion with high quality of work product
