Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities : • Database Engineering & Architecture: Design, install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database servers.• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage Oracle RAC.• Performance Tuning: Perform advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and instance-level tuning using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to optimize performance.• Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash/KornShell) or Python to automate routine DBA tasks, backups, and monitoring.• Backup & Recovery: Formulate and execute backup/recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager).• Production Support: Provide on-call support for critical production issues, including root cause analysis (RCA).
