It is our responsibility to provide you every opportunity and resource to achieve that success.Make an impact from day ONE at CTI Foods!Job Overview1st Shift 4am-4pm ($16.50 per hour)The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Technician is to ensure compliance with Company food safety and quality standards for raw materials, processed products, and processing procedures are maintained under minimal supervision. Responsible for laboratory, online testing and evaluations in an effort to assist the production process. Must understand customer specifications and ensure in-process testing as well as finished product meets all quality parameters.Responsibilities Pre-op inspection Monitor whichever line they are scheduled on which includes temperature monitoring, sizing, validating all GMP’s are being followed. Document all data in the iPad. Monitor line to assure product specification is being followed. Communicate with operations to be sure we are producing product in spec. Assist in the execution of internal audits and assist in product traceability and mock recall exercises, 3rd party and customer audits. Provide technical assistance to operations regarding process deviation reports and product specifications. Retain product and investigate to determine disposition under the guidance of Management. Perform documentation review, HACCP verification activities (Cook System Verifications, Direct Observations) and SSOP monitoring activities (pre-operational and operational) as necessary. Maintain environmental monitoring programs including weekly and monthly microbiological testing is being performed to standard. Communicate deficiencies and opportunities to Quality Assurance and Operations Management Promotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and Quality. Any other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent, On the job training for each task. Read, write and understand English. Must have basic computer/tablet skills, be able to read a thermometer, use a caliper, and read and understand required specifications. Required to work quickly and repetitively to keep up with the flow of production. Physical Requirements Be able to stand on the line and move (walk, reach, bend twist) around in the area up to 11 hours per day. See near, far, color vision. Hearing ordinary and other sounds. Dexterity for touching and handling small objects. Work Enviornment Manufacturing environment which mechanical equipment, loud noise, extreme cold, and wet surfaces.
