Mental Health Therapist - LCSW
Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We believe very strongly in the importance of having a safe place to heal from emotional trauma, and in providing high quality, evidence-based treatment. We offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in New Mexico. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents with various mental health concernsConduct assessments and develop treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique needsMaintain accurate and timely client records and progress notesProvide crisis intervention and risk assessments as neededProvide clinical supervision for our LMSW therapistsParticipate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunitiesQualifications:Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or related field$75,000 - $80,000 base salary plus bonusLicense eligible in the state of New MexicoAt least three years previous counseling experience required.Ability to provide clinical supervision required.Certification in DBT, ERP or EMDR is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, as well as psychology, therapy and counseling approachesStrong analytical skills to assess a patient’s situation and build treatment plansExcellent listening skills to best understand a patient’s issues and concernsExcellent communication skills to effectively guide patients and establish trustCrisis intervention skills to respond to patients in acute distressAll new patient visits conducted in person, but we offer a mixture of in-person and telemedicine for follow-up visits based on patient needsCompensation & Benefits:$75,000 - $80,000 base salary plus bonusBased on 32 clinical hours or an equivalent of supervision and clinical hours worked; salary guaranteed - not based on patients seenMedical, dental, vision insurance401K matching retirement planOpportunities for professional growth and development.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Flexible schedule and visit times.
