Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Every other weekend and every other holiday required • May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back • 2 years of nursing experience required, trauma level II experience highly preferred • EPIC charting experience required • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC) • Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred • Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adult patients only • Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, GI disorders, diabetes management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases • Patient ratios: 1:6-7 on nights • Any color scrubs permitted • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility • During flu season, unvaccinated travelers required to wear masks at all times Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced patient care services across multiple specialties.
