A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week assignment - Float to all inpatient units as needed - Every other weekend and every other holiday required - Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required - Trauma Level II experience highly preferred - Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC) - EPIC charting system experience required - Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adult patients only - Typical patient ratios: 1:6-7 on nights - Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, and wound care - Any scrub color permitted - Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility - Associate degree or certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred - Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, independence, and positive attitude with flexibility Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing specialized trauma care and a wide range of inpatient services.
