We're looking for someone who is highly motivated with two years of experience. The Tax Associate will be responsible for tax compliance, planning, and preparation activities for both individual and business clients. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businessesServe as primary relationship manager and trusted advisor to assigned clientsEnsure compliance with applicable tax laws, provide tax advice, and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilitiesActively foster a positive, collaborative environment through supportive teamwork and respectful communicationDrive workflow efficiency and process quality controlWork with internal stakeholders and external auditors or agencies as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's preferredCPA certification preferredRelevant experience in tax or similar role preferredStrong expertise in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax PreparationAbility to maintain confidentialityDeadline driven with strong time management & prioritizationExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and leadership skillsPlease send resume to Katy Clements at katy@wbhconsulting.com.
