ApplyJob TypeFull-timeDescriptionMyrtle Beach Manor is seeking a Wellness Nurse-Registered Nurse to join their team!The RN reports directly to the Director of Nursing.Shift Details - Full TimePURPOSE - RNThe RN is responsible for monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents and provides leadership support and assistance with resident care and services.Responsibilities include but are not limited to medication care administration, communication with resident support services and families and maintaining clinical quality assurance while leading, demonstrating and supporting all the elements of wellness which are core components of Phoenix programs and services.Principle Duties And Responsibilities - RnResident CareIdentifies on-going needs and services of residents through the assessment / Personalized Service Plan (PSP) processEnsures proper follow through and documentation for residents with a change in clinical care needsAssist the Wellness Director with Completing the clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP to accurately reflect the resident monthlyInforms the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in medication or service level that may result in a higher tier level or potential move-outAssist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to completing monthly wellness health updatesAssist with direct resident care as neededRequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION - RNMust be a Registered NurseA minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferredMust have demonstrated Leadership capabilitiesKnowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferredAbility to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and timesSkills And Abilities - RnUnderstanding of infection control proceduresProficient in using MS OfficeUnderstands and able to implement Personalized Service PlansUnderstands advanced directives and end-of-life careUnderstands and embraces the assisted living philosophyUnderstands nursing function in assisted living, quality of care and quality of life objectivesDemonstrated knowledge of state regulations. Proficient in using state audit compliance toolsIs proficient in time management skills and adherence to deadlinesHas exceptional grammar and documentation skillsUnderstands basic concepts of risk management
