Position Summary The HVAC Commercial Installer is responsible for installing commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities Install commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, furnaces, central air systems, and refrigeration equipment Work with a variety of systems, including hydronic (water-based), steam, forced air, and heat pumps Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications Perform proper refrigerant piping installation Braze and solder piping as needed Assist with system controls and wiring connections Maintain high standards of safety and quality on every job Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of HVAC installation or service experience, or equivalent technical training Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and wiring Strong communication and organizational skills Basic computer skills Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks Commitment to company policies and safety standards Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $16 - $40 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) with company match Health insurance with HSA contributions (effective day one) Dental and vision plans Life, AD&D, and disability insurance options Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays Employee Assistance Program Company-provided vehicle with take-home privileges and gas card Company-issued phone and/or tablet Skills and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Safe and effective use of tools and equipment Customer-focused with professional communication skills Ability to work independently in a field environment Adaptability and professionalism on active job sites Work Environment This is a field-based role that may include: Working outdoors in varying weather conditions Driving to and between job sites Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Working with construction materials, tools, and equipment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
