Custom Carpenter – ExperiencedWe are looking for a skilled Custom Carpenter to join our crew. The ideal candidate will have experience working on art installations, museum exhibits, or high-end residential builds and renovations. This role requires craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in unique and specialized environments.Location Requirement:Candidates must live within 30 miles of our office, as the role requires regular onsite work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. A short commute is preferred due to the hands-on nature of the job.Experience:Ideally 10+ years of professional carpentry experienceBackground in custom builds, art installations, museum work, or luxury real estate projects is highly preferredKey Responsibilities:Build and install custom carpentry elements and installationsWork from drawings, plans, and design specificationsComplete high-end construction and renovation projectsMaintain high craftsmanship standards and attention to detailWork independently on projects while collaborating with the teamProvide guidance and mentorship to junior carpentersIdeal Candidate:Highly skilled and detail-oriented carpenterComfortable working independently and taking ownership of projectsOpen to coaching and mentoring less-experienced carpentersExperience in precision work and custom installationsCompensation:We are open to reviewing candidates across a range of salary expectations as we evaluate current market rates for highly experienced carpenters.
