Staff AccountantOur client, a well-established Prescription Benefit Management firm local to the Fort Myers, FL area, is experiencing significant growth. With a rapidly expanding client base and new leadership in place, they are now building out their finance team and seeking an experienced Accountant to grow with them. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for direct exposure to senior leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Staff Accountant Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle accounts payable across multiple entities, ensuring invoices are accurately recorded and processed on timePrepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledgerPerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist in preparing financial statements, reports, and supporting schedulesProcess payroll for multiple entities including vouching and verification, check printing and distribution, check stamping and approvals, and preparing and submitting positive pay files with banking institutionsPartner with management to ensure invoice accuracy and proper approvalsCommunicate with external accountants, auditors, and financial partnersSupport coordination across departments and officesMaintain organized vendor files and corporate recordsManage office supply inventory related to finance operationsAssist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assignedStaff Accountant Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum 5 years of accounting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooksExperience with Paychex and/or ADP payroll platforms preferredExperience supporting multiple entities or business units a plusFamiliarity with payroll processing and banking file submissions a plusReal estate accounting experience a plusBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible after 60 days)Basic life insurance, short and long term disability401k with company match up to 50% of contributionFSA through Health EquityVacation: 2 weeks to start, increasing with tenureSick and personal timeTuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per yearEmployee referral bonus programSalary: $60,000 - $70,000
