Join us at MacLean-Fogg as we build on our legacy of excellence and shape the future of manufacturing.Job SummaryPerforms work associated with both set-up and basic plastic processing functions.Job DutiesPerform all required setup activities to ensure the molding process meets the requirementsPerform basic troubleshooting of equipment/tooling and perform adjustmentsTest and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation when applicable Clean and maintain hoppers, loaders, grinders and other secondary equipmentOperate powered industrial equipment if neededComplete all necessary documents fully and accurately Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedExperience and EducationPerform work under general supervision Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staffPossess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipmentPowered industrial equipment certification preferredCompetencies/ SkillsAbility to interpret work instructions Ability to follow written and verbal directionsBasic verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift/move heavy objectsManual dexterityPhysical staminaEOE-Minority/Female/Disability/VeteranVarious agencies of the United States Government require employers to maintain information on applicants pertaining to factors such as race, sex, and type of position for which an individual applies.
