Dog Food Production and Sanitation

Overview: We are currently seeking a Dog Food Production and Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility. This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday-Friday from 6am to 2:30pm with a paid break, and an unpaid lunch 30 minute lunch. You will also be assisting in producing human grade dog food. Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize production areas, including equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces - Fabricate and assemble cleaning tools and equipment as needed - Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols - Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary - Dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly - Perform routine inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when reordering is necessary - Follow food safety protocols - Pack and ship finished product Skills: - Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Kitchen or warehouse experience is a plus - Pet industry experience is a plus - Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods of time - Familiarity with warehouse or food production environments is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
