Florida Licensed Mold Assessor/Indoor Air Quality Specialist

We are a specialty company that provides mold assessment and cause and origin analysis for water damaged dwellings and commercial buildings. We service the entire State of Florida. We are looking for a Florida-licensed mold assessor to perform assessments in the Panama City area. Those with an asbestos inspector certification are highly encouraged to apply. Services include: Mold Remediation Protocol Development Mold Remediation Project Oversight Post-Mold Remediation Inspections Indoor Air Quality Investigations Post Water Infiltration Assessments Mold spore sampling (air, tape lifts, or swabs) Clandestine Drug Lab (Meth Lab) verification, cleaning protocols, and post-remediation inspections Asbestos Consulting OSHA compliance solutions Industrial Hygiene and Safety Consulting Expert Witness Testimony/Services Required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OneDrive Ability to work independently and maintain focus Excellent interpersonal communication skills Willing to learn the intricacies of indoor air quality impacts on people and productivity Excellent driving skills Excellent grammar and writing skills Attention to detail Physical demands One must have the ability to perform the following daily duties The ability to drive up to 3 hours each way to and from job sites with reliable transportation. Climb a ladder while carrying 30 lbs. Moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. The ability to move oneself in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces (ie. crawl spaces and attics). Travel Travel daily to and from job sites. Overnight/extended travel does occur occasionally. Desired Background Experience: Building science, construction, civil engineering, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, health sciences, asbestos consulting, insurance adjuster. Florida Licensed Mold Assessors and Certified Indoor Environmentalists (CIE) are encouraged to submit a resume. Minimum Required Education: AA Degree or higher Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check. Serious applicants with relevant background or training ONLY. Must be a resident of Florida or willing to relocate. Job location will be in the Panama City area.
