Harford Community College is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to serve as a key institutional leader on legal and regulatory matters.The Compliance Officer serves as the initial point of contact on legal aspects of the institution, including policy, contracts, litigation, and other legal matters. This position is designated as the College's:Title IX CoordinatorADA/504 CoordinatorFirst Amendment OfficerFOIA OfficerThis is an exempt, professional staff position reporting to the VP, HR, Risk & Compliance.Requirements:Master's degree in Business Administration/Management, Compliance, or Legal StudiesMinimum of 3 years of compliance management experience in one or more of the following areas:Title IXADA/504FERPAFOIARegulatory complianceConstitutional principlesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projectsStrong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with standard office equipmentEmployees must reside in Maryland or contiguous states (DE, PA, VA, WV, or DC).
