As a VISTA, you will support our organization by doing the following: Develop and implement targeted strategies to attract and onboard volunteers who are aligned with long-term engagement, including improved messaging, streamlined onboarding, and automated training modules. Design and execute volunteer retention initiatives, including structured recognition programs, engagement touchpoints, and feedback systems to increase satisfaction and longevity. Create and implement automated systems for volunteer scheduling, communication, and feedback collection to reduce administrative burden and improve the volunteer experience. Establish processes and tools to track volunteer engagement, retention, and recognition, enabling more personalized and meaningful volunteer involvement. Organize community drives for essential items such as toys, diapers, and clothing by engaging churches, social groups, and community organizations. Create and distribute promotional materials to raise awareness of donation needs and opportunities. Track and manage donation logistics, including inventory and distribution. Build relationships with local businesses and corporations to secure event sponsorships and in-kind donations. Develop sponsorship packages and deliverables for corporate partners.Coordinate corporate volunteer days to deepen partnerships.Further help on this page can be found by clicking here .Member Duties : The member will build systems and create resources to strengthen volunteer and partner engagement. Duties include developing materials such as role descriptions, onboarding guides, orientation slides, email templates, and short training videos. The member will manage processes by setting up registration forms, scheduling systems, and integrating AI to automate communication and reporting. They will improve recruitment, retention, recognition, and milestone tracking.
