Portfolio Analyst role with leading middle-market private equity firm.An opportunity to work at the intersection of private equity, data analytics, AI, and operational strategy.The role will support investment evaluation, portfolio analysis, portfolio value creation + internal AI/automation & data product initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport investment and portfolio analysis using data-driven insightsBuild and maintain analytics, reporting, and data infrastructureDevelop dashboards and visualisations to support decision-makingAnalyse market, company, and third-party datasetsHelp automate internal processes and workflowsSupport the implementation of new data, technology, and AI toolsPrepare analytical reports and presentations for stakeholdersContribute to the firm's data and AI initiativesCandidate ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field2+ years' experience in Investment Banking, Analytics, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Consulting, or a similar environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailExperience with Python, SQL, R, Java, Typescript, or similar technologiesInterest in AI, data analytics, and technology-driven decision makingInterest in financial markets, M&A, and investingStrong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAn opportunity to join a PE Fund where analytics, technology, and AI are becoming increasingly central to investment strategy and operational value creation.
