Civil Engineer Position SummaryAdidev is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee a wide range of infrastructure and civil works projects including transportation systems, bridges, buildings, site development, utilities, and water/wastewater facilities.This role blends office-based design and analysis with hands-on field oversight, offering the opportunity to see projects through from concept to completion while ensuring quality, safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, public agencies, and contractors to deliver reliable infrastructure that serves communities and supports long-term growth.About Adidev Adidev Technologies is an engineering and professional services firm supporting infrastructure, construction, public works, and information technology projects across the United States. We hire and support both Civil Engineering and IT professionals, including Mobile Developers and Machine Learning Engineers, and partner with municipalities, transportation authorities, utilities, and leading private-sector organizations to deliver high-quality, practical solutions.Our teams have supported projects and initiatives for public agencies and industry leaders, including state Departments of Transportation (DOTs), municipal public works agencies, and technology-driven organizations such as Delta, Google, Apple, Spotify, US Bank, and FedEx, as well as major engineering and construction firms.Adidev delivers innovative, data-driven solutions that modernize infrastructure, improve efficiency, and strengthen the communities our clients serve.We focus on practical, field-tested solutions and pride ourselves on collaboration, technical excellence, and delivering projects that make a measurable impact.Key ResponsibilitiesReview survey reports, maps, plans, and technical data to support infrastructure designPerform engineering calculations (structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, and transportation)Prepare drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD/BIM and engineering toolsDevelop cost estimates, schedules, and project budgetsObtain permits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsConduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specificationsCoordinate with contractors, inspectors, agencies, and stakeholdersIdentify risks, resolve field issues, and recommend engineering improvementsMaintain documentation including reports, design changes, and inspectionsSupport projects from concept development through construction and closeoutPursue and/or maintain professional licensure (PE preferred)Qualifications / SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred for some roles)Strong foundation in one or more disciplines: structural, transportation, geotechnical, water resources, or environmental engineeringProficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM, or similar engineering softwareUnderstanding of codes, standards, permitting processes, and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working both in office and field environmentsProject coordination, budgeting, and scheduling experienceInterest in sustainable, resilient, and community-focused infrastructure designEIT or PE licensure (preferred or in progress)Working ConditionsCombination of office and field workSite visits and outdoor work requiredFull-time schedule with occasional extended hours based on project needsTravel or relocation may be required depending on assignmentsPerks and BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and market valuePaid relocation assistanceFlexible and hybrid work options when project schedules allowProfessional development and continuing education supportLicensing and certification reimbursementRegular performance and salary reviewsOpportunity to work on meaningful infrastructure projects that directly impact communities
