Senior Technical Program Manager (Data Platform & Modernization) - W2

W2 Only (No C2C/C2H/1099)We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise data platform initiatives. This role requires a highly technical PM who can drive cross-functional execution, manage complex dependencies, and provide end-to-end ownership of strategic modernization programs.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end delivery of data platform modernization initiatives from intake through implementation and transition to steady-state operations.Lead rollout planning, access governance, role design, view strategy, and onboarding while ensuring modernization timelines remain on track.Coordinate across engineering, analytics, platform, and business teams to drive execution and remove delivery blockers.Translate business objectives and stakeholder requirements into actionable technical plans and measurable deliverables.Manage program risks, dependencies, milestones, and executive communications throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate decision-making across multiple organizations while maintaining alignment on priorities and timelines.Define ownership boundaries across participating teams to ensure accountability and eliminate ambiguity.Develop scalable, repeatable implementation patterns that can be leveraged across future platform initiatives.Drive phased onboarding strategies based on business readiness, platform maturity, and operational priorities.Present concise status updates, risks, mitigation plans, and key decisions to executive leadership.Required Skills12+ years of Technical Program or Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.Strong end-to-end ownership mindset with the ability to manage complex programs from planning through production rollout.Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms, access governance, and modernization programs.Experience with:DremioSailPointAmazon RedshiftAWS GlueData access governance and role-based access control (RBAC)Knowledge of data platform dependencies, engine routing, grant management, and enterprise governance frameworks.Proven ability to translate technical initiatives into business outcomes and drive execution across multiple stakeholder groups.Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing large cross-functional programs involving engineering, analytics, architecture, and platform teams.Preferred QualificationsStrong influence and leadership skills without direct authority.Experience driving alignment across multiple enterprise technology organizations.Expertise in defining governance models, ownership structures, and operational processes.Ability to build scalable and reusable delivery frameworks rather than one-off solutions.Experience leading phased enterprise platform onboarding and modernization initiatives.Strong risk management, dependency management, and decision facilitation skills.Preferred ExperienceEnterprise Data PlatformsCloud Data WarehousingData Governance & Access ManagementAWS Data ServicesPlatform ModernizationEnterprise AnalyticsLarge-Scale Transformation Programs
