Position Type:Athletics/Volunteer Coach Date Posted:4/30/2026 Location:Philip Barbour High School Closing Date:05/06/2026 County:Barbour County Schools Notice of Extra-Curricular VacancyPosition: Volunteer Assistant Middle School Football Coach Immediate Supervisor: Principal and/or Athletic Director Qualifications: Holds a Valid WV Teaching Certification in Education and/or WVSSAC coaching certificationHolds a Valid First Aid and CPR cardComplete CPR and AED training Responsibilities:Supervise athletes during competition, practices, meetings and travel, which involves the assigned program.Instruct athletes in the rules and strategies of the activity.Plan and implement activities designed to prepare the athletes for interscholastic competition.Issue, inventory and maintain equipment.Promote student awareness of and participation in the program.
