Job descriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for retail and strong leadership skills.Duties:Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and administrative tasksTrain and supervise retail staff to ensure they provide exceptional customer serviceMonitor stock levels and coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure timely replenishmentUtilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficientlyPerform retail math calculations to analyze sales data and make informed decisionsAssist customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide product recommendationsMaintain a clean and organized store environmentConduct regular inventory counts and implement effective inventory control proceduresCollaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive salesHandle cash register operations, including opening and closing proceduresRequirements:Previous experience in a retail management role is requiredStrong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staffKnowledge of inventory control principles and practicesProficient in using POS systems and cash registersAbility to perform basic retail math calculationsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracyAdministrative skills for record keeping and reporting purposesAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPreferred Skills:Multilingual abilities to cater to diverse customer baseWe offer competitive pay based on experience along with opportunities for career growth within our company.
