Travel RN - CVOR PACU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CV PACU position requiring a minimum of 3 years PACU/critical care experience and prior cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery recovery experience.Job Details• CV PACU setting within a large hospital environment,• Patient population includes cardiac (Mitraclips, TAVRs, Watchman), thoracic, and vascular surgery cases,• Experience with vasoactive drips, ERAS protocols for early ambulation, arrhythmia management, and ASPAN guideline compliance required,• Adult PACU environment requiring flexibility to meet dynamic patient needs,• 10-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM,• On-call required 3x per week from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM should cases run later,• EMR: Epic,• Maroon scrubs provided by the facility,• Free on-site parking available,Job Requirements• Active VA or compact RN license required,• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,• Minimum 3 years of PACU or critical care experience within the past 4 years,• PACU experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery required,• Previous travel nursing experience required,• Charge nurse experience preferred,• Proficiency with vasoactive drips and post-operative cardiac/thoracic/vascular patient management,• Ability to work with minimal supervision and apply critical thinking in a fast-paced environment,Additional Information• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients,• Expected to comply with ASPAN guidelines in all aspects of PACU care,• Charge experience is a plus and may be utilized on unit,• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, patient-first approach are essential,
