This role is responsible for managing billing processes, ensuringaccurate claim submission, and supporting timely reimbursement from insurance providers.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and payersVerify patient insurance coverage and benefitsReview accounts for accuracy and resolve billing discrepanciesFollow up on unpaid or denied claims and initiate appeals when necessaryPost payments, adjustments, and patient payments into billing systemsCommunicate with patients and insurance providers regarding billing questionsQualifications1+ year of medical billing experience preferredKnowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codesExperience working with insurance claims and reimbursement processesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency with medical billing software and Microsoft OfficeEB-156#######
