Welder1st shift Welders needed in the Batavia area. POSITION PURPOSE: To fabricate and assemble steel components according to production specifications and quality standards. This role involves performing a variety of welding processesincluding manual welding, layout welding, orbital welding, and tack welding 7am to 3:30 pm. Monday to Friday! Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.Execute layout welding without the use of templates, using blueprints, measuring tools, and layout marks to determine accurate fit-up.Interpret and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences and joint designs.Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and tolerances.Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life, and Short-Term Disability benefits, as well as a Retirement Plan.
