Join us in coloring a safe and sustainable future!Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Inplant Ink Technician to work at our customer's site. The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible for:Maintaining INX's excellent relationship with the customerReviewing scheduling and coordinating jobs with customerBeing available for service call-ins as neededPerforming technical service, color matching, ink production and dispensing inkEvaluating production requirements based on customer schedule changesControlling Work-offInventory management and monthly consignment countsPerforming job estimatesProviding press-side technical supportCompleting monthly reportsPerforming Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batchesFollowing all safety requirementsData entry accuracyManufacturing batches under 100 poundsQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalentBe able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision testDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsEffectively communicate with peers and customersHave excellent written, reading comprehension and math skillsDemonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skillsHave the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequentlyHave good organization skills2 to 5 years of work related experienceIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:Spectrophotometer knowledge & experience helpfulTechnically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed productsFamiliar with X-Rite IQCFlexible packaging knowledgeFlexographic printing knowledgeSolvent ink knowledgePrevious lab, inplant, and warehouse experienceSAP KnowledgeInplant pressroom experienceCollege degreeAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
