General Manager
The Hotel General Manager (GM) leads all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring financial success, guest satisfaction, and team development while upholding our mission, vision, and values. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive, self-starting individual with 24/7 availability to ensure excellence across all departments.Responsibilities:• Lead staff training meetings and ensure operational checklists and safety protocols are followed.• Oversee budgets, maximize revenue, and manage financial records to achieve financial goals.• Conduct daily check-ins with department heads to align on priorities and maintain operations.• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team.• Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand and company standards.Qualifications:• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations• Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred.• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.About Company:At ARK, our vision is to positively impact, and our mission is to raise the bar on what relationships, reputation, and returns mean in hospitality.
