Job Summary:
Our operating unit provides aerial, underground, substructure, ISP, wireless, telecom engineering, and splicing services and we are looking for a Bore Foreman to join our team. The Bore Foreman will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and/or locating the predetermined path to the exit point. We are looking for experienced individuals with knowledge of the telecommunications construction industry. This position requires organization, timeliness, accuracy and great attention to detail and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate drilling equipment and various other construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments
Drill and/or locate predetermined path to exit point
Assist in support of drilling operations
Assist crew if needed
Perform duties in standard and high-risk areas
Safely and successfully perform duties all year round
Perform physical tasks required to successfully complete day-to-day operations
Drive truck requiring a CDL.
Complete DVIR Daily.
Working as a team to complete tasks.
Travel overnight to various sites as requested
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recent experience in drilling/locating
Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) with a satisfactory driving record.
Previous experience driving vehicles requiring a Class A CDL.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
General knowledge of construction practices and equipment
Ability to perform general construction labor tasks
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with the crew, leadership, and clients
Function effectively as an integral part of a team
Must have great communication skills.
Willing to perform work to support the values and goals of the Company.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:
Lift moderately heavy equipment, such as telephone line; climb structures; and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a confined space and at high elevations (poles, hydraulic lift buckets, ladders.
Climb up and down poles, ladders, machinery, and other objects.
Push, pull, reach, and carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
Load and unload tools and equipment on the truck.
Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
Vision including depth perception, close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
All work is performed at remote locations; driving and sitting are required.
All work is outdoors, subject to inclement weather conditions.
Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry
