This role is responsible for receiving, unpacking, labeling, and organizing incoming merchandise in storage areas and on shelves. Daily tasks include restocking products, rotating inventory, and ensuring items are stored safely and neatly according to company standards. The position also involves keeping stockrooms and aisles clean and clutter-free, assisting with inventory counts, and reporting low stock or discrepancies to supervisors. The Stock Boy may help load and unload deliveries, move products using carts or other equipment, and occasionally assist customers or colleagues in locating items. This role requires consistent punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Qualifications Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and merchandise safely, often up to a moderate weight, and stand or walk for extended periods.Strong attention to detail for checking labels, quantities, and product conditions, with basic numeracy for counting and simple record-keeping.Organizational skills to keep stock areas orderly, rotate inventory, and follow storage procedures accurately.Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work well with supervisors and team members.Willingness to maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines and policies.Previous experience in stocking, warehouse, or retail environments is helpful but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but candidates with relevant experience and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
