General Laborer/NDT Technician

General Labor and/or NDE Tank and Pipe Technician for Oil, Gas, and Petrochem Industry Detect Tank Services is currently seeking a general laborer or NDE tank inspection technician for our Western PA/Ohio area. Duties to include: Assisting inspector with NDE inspections on tanks, piping, and other related appurtenances. Prepare and setup related equipment Accurately record and submit results of NDE evaluations Other duties as assigned. Full time position includes health/eye/dental insurance, paid vacation, paid sick time, 401K. PAID on the job training. Detect will pay for continued training and certifications. Travel across the Northeast is necessary for this position Having current level 1 or higher NDE certifications in one or more practices including, but not limited to UT, MT, PT is a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Must be willing to travel. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must not be afraid of heights.
