Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Engineer II opening for our client. Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid, 1 day remote per week) Duration: 12 months Overview: Join the team responsible for automating software installations across laptops, desktops, tablets, servers, and virtual devices. You'll help maintain a stable, efficient endpoint environment using tools like Microsoft SCCM, InstallShield, PowerShell, and PSAppDeploy Toolkit (PSADT) on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server. Experience with Intune, VB Script, or Mac OS is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Monitor Jira for packaging requests and assess requirements. Automate application installations and test via SCCM for UAT readiness. Support Desktop Engineering with packaging and delivery issues. Collaborate with IT teams on configuration, security, and maintenance. Maintain packaging standards, procedures, and documentation. Automate daily processes to improve efficiency. Perform moderate to complex system administration tasks. Required Experience & Skills: 5+ years in Windows environments (Mac OS a plus). Strong software automation, scripting, and OS knowledge. Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or JAMF Pro. Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and in team settings. Preferred Experience: Medium to large-scale project experience. Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and PowerShell scripting. 5+ years in enterprise IT environments. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
