On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.Day Shift, Monday Friday, 7:00am 4:00pmAs the Quality Specialist, you will perform internal audits of the manufacturing processes, products, and procedures in support of the quality team as well as the manufacturing operations teams. This position will also verify the implementation of ISO policies and procedures described in the documented quality system.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day:Work closely with quality assurance, manufacturing operations, and inventory control personnelPerform random, in-process auditing designated by the quality manager/supervisor or lead; assist with follow-up on quality-related problemsInspect finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, assemblies and test products for conformance to company standards; check to ensure corrective action is being taken on failed lotsResearch, resolve and communicate work problems to Supervisor and assist coworkers in solving problemsDocument audit findings and records in quality database systemTrain and interpret process procedures/work instructions/quality bulletins with departments being audited and provide input on changes and/or updates to work instructions/proceduresParticipate in special projects, such as auditing, training other departments or inspecting; provide reports to management on findingsDemonstrate an understanding of the supply chain quality policy and adhere to the company's good manufacturing practicesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Experience interpreting graphsExperience with Microsoft OfficeAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memosIt'd be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalentEffective communication skills to present information in one-on-one, small and large group situations to customers, clients and coworkers1 year of quality assurance experience in manufacturing, packaging, or distribution facilityThis job requires the ability to:Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionallyTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
