Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.65 / Hour Must be 21+ years of age Prior Law Enforcement or Military (Must be either Military Police or a Combat Arms MOS) experience required   Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and support vehicle and personnel screening in accordance with site policies. Support emergency and utility-related response protocols, assist with incident scene control, and communicate with local responders and/or authorized personnel as needed.Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
