Tasks and Responsibilities Ensure the correct specimen is collected for each test ordered Ensure the patient's full name, Date of Birth, date/time of collection and barcode are on the specimens Log each specimen into the LIS Responsible for informing facility that a redraw is needed if the specimen cannot be tested Other duties.
