Your work won’t just move products - it’ll move the world towards a future with abundant housing for all.Role: This position plays an integral part in enabling production flow and supporting our rapidly growing build cadence. You’ll report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, mechanical engineers, and production technicians to drive production ramp up. Supply Chain Specialists have wide-ranging responsibilities and are responsible for ensuring that both tactical and strategic supply chain business results are achieved. This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands-on application within each of the departments in Supply Chain to ensure excellence.Effectively execute Supply Chain activities such as material requirements planning, purchasing, supplier delivery management, and inventory strategy management.Support the Supply Chain Team, Technicians, Engineers, and other stakeholders by performing necessary procurement duties to enable day-to-day operations.Develop, manage, and collaborate with key suppliers to achieve delivery and quality targets.Establish sourcing strategies intended to reduce risk and to support supply chain goals related to cost savings and payment terms.Identify and onboard new high-potential suppliers by supporting in the evaluation technical feasibility of work content in comparison to suppliers’ technical capabilities and limitations.Pinpoint opportunities to improve our supply chain through supplier evaluations, feedback, and process improvements.Drive continuous improvement by facilitating design for manufacturability discussions based on vendor feedback.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.1-2 years of supply chain or operations experience.Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software, Enterprise ResourcePlanning (ERP) software, and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories.Hands-on experience with procurement, logistics, and inventory management.Ability to drive to success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Ability to develop metrics that accurately represent organizational performance.Compensation Range:$65K/yr - $77K/yr + Bonus, Stock options
