If you have experience in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), industrial control systems, and engineering design, we'd love to connect with you!What You'll DoAs a Facilities Instrumentation Engineering Owner's Representative, you'll play a critical role in supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing projects by:✅ Providing engineering and design oversight during semiconductor tool installations.✅ Reviewing instrumentation & controls designs for factory control systems, fire alarm systems, chemical controls, toxic gas monitoring (TGM), and PLCs.✅ Developing and reviewing technical specifications for tool installations.✅ Reviewing vendor submittals to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.✅ Collaborating with facilities, construction teams, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to successfully execute complex projects.Required Qualifications✔ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.✔ 5+ years of experience designing industrial control systems.✔ Strong knowledge of IFC, IMC, UL, and IEEE standards.✔ Experience selecting and specifying electrical and control systems.✔ Experience reviewing vendor submittals and technical documentation.✔ Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications⭐ Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.⭐ 2+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.⭐ Field experience supporting construction or subcontractors.⭐ Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or other BIM/CAD software.⭐ Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and process improvement.Additional Information📌 12+ Month Contract📌 Hybrid work schedule:• Approximately 50% onsite during the first month• One week onsite per month thereafter📌 Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).📌 Background check and drug screening required.📌 Field work may include walking long distances, climbing ladders, and working in active construction environments.Why Join DataSoft Technologies?Since 1994, DataSoft Technologies has been a trusted provider of Engineering and IT staffing solutions across the United States.Our Benefits Include:✅ Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)✅ Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance✅ Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance✅ Life Insurance✅ 401(k)📩 Interested or know someone who would be a great fit?
