Junior SERE Instructor

DescriptionThis position is contingent upon successful contract submission and award.Prevailance is seeking a Junior SERE Instructor to deliver high-risk Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training in support of military personnel at Fairchild AFB. This role is ideal for qualified Level-C SERE graduates with early instructional experience who are developing advanced teaching and evaluation skills while working under senior instructors in demanding training environments. Travel may be required.Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited ToDeliver field and technical SERE instruction under the guidance of senior instructorsAssist with training in survival skills, navigation, signaling, evasion, and personnel recovery techniquesInstruct students on the use of maps, compasses, GPS, and communication/signaling devicesSupport and participate in resistance training activities, including role-play scenarios and debriefsEvaluate and document student performance during field and resistance training eventsConduct instruction in austere, mountainous, and physically demanding environmentsSupport validation and upkeep of training materials, syllabi, and instructor guidesRequirementsQualifications:Graduate of USAF SV81A or an approved DoD SERE Level C (High Risk) Course Level C certificate required 2+ years of experience instructing at a Level-C SERE course or related SERE training experience 4+ years of military service (any branch); minimum rank E-5 Honorable discharge (DD-214 required) Ability to meet demanding physical requirements (rucking, prolonged standing, extended instruction hours) Ability to pass SERE psychological screening and High-Risk training evaluationsDesired QualificationsFirst Aid / CPR or Wilderness First Responder certificationFamiliarity with USAF SERE program structure and hierarchy EducationHigh School diploma or GEDClearancePossesses and maintain a Secret ClearanceIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!BenefitsPrevailance, Inc. proudly supports veterans as a member of the V3 (Virginia Values Veterans) program and the Hire Vets initiative.
