Role: Principal Software ArchitectLocation: On-sitePayout: $40 - $120/hourRole Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a contract basis. This person will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications and backend systems that support the development of frontier AI models. As a key member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, robust, and cloud-native solutions that drive business growth in the technology industry. Your expertise will help shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and backend systems that support high reliability and performance.• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, integrations, and distributed architectures that support high reliability and performance.• Collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, robust, and cloud-native solutions.• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and system design discussions that drive business growth.• Develop and deploy applications and services across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Proficiency in Python, MySQL, and RESTful API design, with a strong understanding of software development principles and patterns.• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure, and a strong understanding of cloud-native solutions.• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring systems.• Experience with NLP, LLM, and machine learning frameworks, with a strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.• Strong understanding of front-end development frameworks, including React and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of user experience and interface design.More About the Opportunity:This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the technology industry, where you will have the chance to work on cutting-edge AI models and collaborate with a team of experts in the field.
