GENERAL SUMMARYThe Warehouse Associate ensures that our customers receive the correct parts, in the right quantity, at the right time and in a safe manner. The Warehouse Associate is essential to maintaining the physical plant.II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPicking, packing and preparing shipments of customer orders within the same day with a 98% accuracy rate.Load and unload delivery trucks dailyUtilize collaboration by sharing information and skills, assisting other team members, and adaptable to support other departments with meeting the needs of the business.Keep a clean and safe work area.Must participate in all mandatory safety training as offered.III. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITIONa) Position Specific Competencies / ExperienceKnowledgeable in typical leverage and maneuverability tools.Knowledgeable of hazardous materials shipping procedures.Must be able to stand for more than half time a given shift or Workday, in addition to walking/stooping/kneeling/climbingAbility to lift or maneuver 40 lbs and use tools and equipment for products that weigh up to 100 lbs.b) Education:* High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
