The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with the options of an Applied Statistics, General Mathematics, or Secondary Education track. The department also offers a minor in Mathematics and Statistics. These programs provide students with the analytical and problem-solving skills required to advance in today's workforce.Job SummaryThe Department of Mathematics & Statistics within the School of Computing at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Lecturer to teach day and evening classes in mathematics.ResponsibilitiesTeaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate level. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of mathematics courses in the program ( https://www.mga.edu/computing/mathematics-statistics/index.php ) Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in the Warner Robins Campus, however, travel between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, and Warner Robins) will be required.
