As a Medical Assistant in our Mohs Surgery department, you will play a key role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patients receive the best care possible.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by conducting initial assessments, obtaining medical history, and taking vital signs.Assist surgeons during Mohs surgical procedures, ensuring instruments and supplies are ready and sterile.Provide post-operative instructions and care guidance to patients.Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment abiding by safety and infection control protocols.Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments for patients.Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions to alleviate concerns.
