SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: TS, WITH SCI ELIGIBILITYPOSITION REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP*** Position Title: Information Technology/Assurance Specialist IIPosition Description:The IT/IA primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.We are seeking an Information Technology/Assurance Specialist II to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for computer system(s) assignedMaintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as requiredAnalyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performancePrepare system for operational use and support operational testsReview, prepare, and update authorization packagesNotify customer when changes occur that might affect authorization accreditationConduct cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection’s checklistReview and provide technical and cyber security coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that make- up the authorization packageIdentify any and all vulnerabilities and implement countermeasuresEnsure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practicesPerform Video-Teleconferencing VTC System Administration, Scheduling, & ConfigurationProvide External Information System(s) Client SupportPerform account creations, changes, & deletions on multiple authorization boundariesPerform Help Desk & troubleshooting activitiesPerform Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modificationsPerform system and network appliance patching activitiesProvide Government-Issued Laptop SupportAssist in Media Control & Accountability activitiesPerform COMSEC account/equipment management activitiesQualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree and 5 years, Associates degree and 7 years, or no degree and 9 years5-7 years related experience SAP ExperiencePrior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or Information Technology/Assurance Specialists Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Manager IIMust be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbsSecurity Clearance:TS, w/ SCI EligibilityEligibility for access to Special Access Program InformationWillingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraphEmployee Benefits:Competitive salary for well qualified applicants401(k) planAnnual performance bonusCertification and advanced degree attainment bonusesStudent Loan / Tuition reimbursementHealth Care Insurance (medical, dental, vision)Up to four weeks of paid vacation11 Federal Holidays, and 3 Floating HolidaysTeam bonding events RedTrace Technologies is an EOE employerPowered by JazzHRQexHDZlFv8
