Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is hiring Teacher Aides to support students across our Special Education programs throughout the region. This is meaningful, hands-on work where your presence truly matters every single day. As a Teacher Aide, you'll play a critical role in helping students learn, grow, and succeed by providing individualized support in a structured, team-based school environment.Teacher Aides are often the steady, trusted adults our students rely on most. Our aides provide 1:1 support, helping students navigate academics, social-emotional learning, and daily routines. What You'll Do As a Teacher Aide, you will:Support students individually or in small groups under the direction of a certified teacherAssist students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routinesHelp maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environmentImplement behavior support plans and follow established routinesWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staffAssist with transitions, mobility, and personal care as neededTraining is provided - you do not need classroom experience to apply.
