In this role, you will be responsible for allmaintenance activities on equipment and administrative functions to supportsite operations. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining toolingmeasuring equipment, such as micrometers, height gages, etc. and maintainingtolerances to avoid poor quality products.The core responsibilities and duties include: Must be able to operate&maintain various equipment typically found in a wood production facilityDemonstrated ability to effectively anticipate and diagnose problems and to perform mechanical maintenancePerform routine administrative functions including ability to update&maintain routine inventory accurately and efficientlyPerforms housekeeping duties as requested, is responsible for keeping designated area clean and clear of safety hazardsMonitor and optimize stock inventories of new tooling, in process tooling, heaters, etc.Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues, specifications, etc.Inspect equipment and record or report damage and mechanical problemsRecord or report operational data such as readings on meters, instruments, and gaugesWho you are? Highschool diploma or equivalent requiredMinimumof 5 years industrial experienceAbilityto adapt to working within a team with minimal supervisionMaintainand adjust equipment to maximize production and minimize downtimeMusthave a professional attitude and work well with othersPromotea safe working environment and follow all workplace and job safetyproceduresPerform/coordinategood housekeeping in the facilityUsedaily checklists, PM's and Work Orders to maintain optimal performance ofthe plantsMicrosoftOffice proficientCapableof mechanical tasks including bearing replacement, motor alignments, basicrigging knowledge, basic welding knowledge, multi-craft skills (electricalknowledge a plus)Mustbe able to work at heights as needed or on elevated surfacesWhat'sit like to work at Drax?
