Working under minimal supervision, this role plays a critical part in maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. The Electrician will troubleshoot complex electrical systems, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on production, facilities, laboratory, and testing equipmentTroubleshoot, evaluate, repair, and adjust equipment using tools and electrical testing devicesRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and P and ID drawingsWork with hardwired relay logic, automation systems, and PLCsTroubleshoot and repair 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, and 4 to 20 mA systemsPerform root cause analysis to prevent recurring equipment failuresSupport mechanical maintenance including hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshootingIdentify opportunities to improve the maintenance program through continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate maintenance records and required reportsFollow all safety procedures including lockout tagout, confined space, PPE, and NFPA arc flash standardsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to support plant objectivesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems and controlsAbility to safely and independently use required tools and testing equipmentWillingness to work overtime and irregular hours with little or no noticeReliable attendance and strong safety mindsetPreferred QualificationsIn-depth PLC troubleshooting experienceRoot cause analysis experienceMechanical troubleshooting experience with hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience working in high-voltage industrial environmentsPhysical and Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, crawling, and squattingAbility to work around industrial machinery and moving mechanical partsExposure to noise, heat, electrical hazards, and chemical vaporsAbility to work at heights up to 30 feet and in confined spacesColor vision required for identifying color-coded wiringBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay of $32 to $38 per hour401(k) and 401(k) matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account and flexible spending accountLife insurancePaid time offEmployee assistance programReferral programRetirement planApply Today
