Dates Needed: Monday, August 18 Sunday, August 24, 2025Shift: 8 hours/day (flexible start time; typical 8 4 or 9 5)Setting: Acute Care Academic Hospital (300 beds including Behavioral Health and Maternity; 125 true Med/Surg beds)EMR: Meditech (legacy version)Opportunity Highlights:Academic environment with resident presence GME/teaching experience preferredProvide inpatient consultative services; all adult patientsConsults may come from inpatient units or EDApprox. 20 new consults per week per provider, with a census of 20 patientsCollaborate with employed physicians and private attendingsSupervise and support night shift coverageEmergency credentialing available in 1 dayRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal MedicineActive NY licenseComfortable working in an academic teaching environmentMust be available to cover full week if possible
